Founded in 2025 by Float Captain Larry Barabino, Jr., the Krewe of Simba is the newest and boldest addition to New Orleans' Mardi Gras tradition. In 2026, we’ll make our debut in the iconic Zulu parade on Fat Tuesday, bringing unmatched energy, creativity, and culture to the streets of New Orleans.
This krewe is more than a ride. It's a celebration of culture, community, and royalty. We welcome both men and women who want to celebrate community, culture, and carnival with pride. While our spirit is ageless, riders must be 12 or older to participate in the parade.
